PB&Jams now has a blog – and great events for YOU!

Welcome to the PB&Jams blog here on our new website – we hope you’ve had a chance to look around and that you love it as much as we do. Special thanks to John Nguyen of CrystalFruit for his great work! We’re still adding finishing touches, so check back often.

In addition to the event calendar, where you can see our upcoming events at a glance, we’re going to be sharing our events here on the blog – with more details about where we’re going and who we’re making delicious food with! We’ll also share updates about our community initiatives, recent events, and more.

To the FUN:

We’ve had a busy summer so far – and it’s only July! Some highlights include appearing at the Fancy Food Show in New York City as a guest of the National Peanut Board, producing tons of delicious nut butters with our newly repaired nut butter machine and shipping them to our customers all over the country, and launching NeighborKids, our biweekly neighborhood party with Taco Angeleno in West Philadelphia, benefitting the girls of TeamUp Philly! Come by every other Wednesday for awesome tacos from Taco Angeleno, and come to us for dessert and delicious shakes!

And we have so much more to come. Here is a sampling of our upcoming events:

This Friday, July 15, we’ll be at the Philly Foodworks Annual Summer Bash from 5-8 p.m.

On Saturday, look for our dancing elephants at Clark Park – we’ll be there with the cart, serving up your favorites, starting at 11 a.m. We’ll also be at the Rittenhouse Farmer’s Market for those of you looking to stock up on jars of your favorite nut butters!

On Wednesday, July 20th, we’ll be at the Farmer’s Market at Christ Church in Old City – so if you don’t make it to Rittenhouse on Saturday, no worries. Head on over to the Old City and get your butters there. Our cart will be resting up for…..

Also on Wednesday, July 20th, come out to Taco Angeleno for NeighborKids from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

On Friday, July 22, we’ll be at the Oval (on the Benjamin Frankly Parkway) from 9:00-11:00 p.m., serving up yummy treats for the family-friendly screening of Finding Nemo! Bring the kids and enjoy a summer evening of fun and yummy food.
